Charlotte Figi, the namesake behind CBD giant Charlotte web has passed away, this according to the company’s website.

Charlotte likely died as a result of complications from COVID-19, CNN reported.

The 13 year-old, who had a “catastrophic” case of epilepsy, was the face of the CBD movement in America, according to the outlet.

“She was a light that lit the world. She was a little girl who carried us all on her small shoulders,” Charlotte’s Web wrote. “What began as her story, became the shared story of hundreds of thousands, and the inspiration of many millions more in the journey of their betterment. Charlotte was and will be, the heartbeat of our passion, and the conviction that the dignity and health of a human being is their right.”

In a heartfelt memorial, the Charlotte’s Web family wrote:

“Inspiring is a lacking word, as are courageous and vivacious and strong and beautiful. She was divine. She grew, cultivated by a community, protected by love, demanding that the world witness her suffering so that they might find a solution. She rose every day, awakening others with her courage, and with that smile that infected your spirit at the cellular level. The infinite compassion of community members who sacrificed their time, resources, and ideas to tend her garden of love were instrumental in her care, but there was no one more committed than the selfless Paige, both a mother and a warrior, both a human and an angel. Charlotte’s cause was her family’s cause and created a foundation of plant-based health that breathed life into their daughter, and the countless sons and daughters like her.”

Introduction to Psychoactive Mushrooms

Psychoactive mushrooms, also known as hallucinogenic mushrooms, have been revered for centuries across various cultures for their profound spiritual, medicinal, and recreational properties. These remarkable fungi contain psychoactive compounds such as psilocybin and psilocin, which have the power to alter perception, thought, and mood. The use of these mushrooms dates back to ancient Mesoamerican cultures, where they were considered sacred and integral to rituals and ceremonies aimed at communicating with the gods and ancestors. The Aztecs, in particular, held these mushrooms in high esteem, often referring to them as “the flesh of the gods” due to their ability to induce mystical and divine experiences.

What are Aztec God Mushroom strains?

This is a strain of psychedelic mushrooms commonly harvested in Central America and Southern Mexico. They possess a moderate to average psilocybin potency and have been widely utilized by the Aztecs for religious purposes. They are widely cultivated or harvested for their above-average psilocybin content, which is suitable for beginners and prolonged trips when taken in large doses.

As cannabis becomes less stigmatized in modern culture, people are beginning to come out and admit to their cannabis use. While smoking weed used to be something people felt they had to keep on the down low, the culture is becoming increasingly mainstream and the scent is now sought after rather than condemned. Many cannabis candles feature complex scent profiles, including notes of amber, which contribute to a rich and layered aromatic experience.
